Found in several large batches in roadside hedgerow. Extensively spread along neighbouring M4 too.

Invasive

This plant is fast becoming a problem in woodlands, alongside roads, hedgerows - in fact just about anywhere. It is a prolific seeder that is invasive, tall and smothers the light from other plants

Invasive Problem

Yes, I agree. My daughter is a Park Ranger in S Wales, and she tells me that the area surrounding "her" park is "solid" with it, and they are regularly having to try to control it.
