Vole

I've got to agree with Gill, the colour is greyish and the habitat - what you can see of it - looks to be a field which would suggest field vole more than bank vole who prefer hedgerows and woodland. However, it could be a trick of the light and it could be more reddish than appears making it a bank vole.

Therefore, all I can say is it is a bank/field vole.

Vole

This vole was under some bird feeders at a woodland gorge ,part of the Huntly Peregrine centre in Scotland .I don't know if that throws any further light on the ID.
