Untoothed with three warts, found by the sea.

Is this likely to be found on road verges (effect of salt)? I found some with 3 warts along the A43.
I have not heard of it on salty verges, but with the diversity of sea-side plants appearing in this habitat, it is always possible. It occurs well inland in salty places in Cheshire but they have been there longer than road verges. The BSBI map shows it to be almost 100% coastal.
Thanks, I just wondered. I've just been and looked at several plants along the road. Most of the fruits are not ripe yet, that seems to make a difference. Some have one well-developed wart and two very small ones in the other segments, but the small ones do not seem to be turning red, unlike the big one. Can I assume it's only the well-developed one that is significant?
