Leptura aurulenta

Of course! How did I miss that? I was looking at the British Wildlife key the day before too but for some reason had this name stuck in my head. Is Leptura a reassignation from Strangalia for this beetle?

Thanks everyone for the correction.

Leptura

the Four-banded Longhorn is indeed now called Leptura quadrifasciata, I believe, so yes, some of the strangalia have been changed to leptura
