Description:

Usually, I've no idea where to start with moths ... and this chap from quite high up (~1600m) in the Pyrenees is no exception. It looks a similar shape and pattern to some of the so-called "Beauties" in my Townsend/Waring but it's also similar to the "Pugs" so, basically, I'm lost. Either way I can't spot anything this yellow. :)
