Ethyl acetate

Worth investing in some ethyl acetate I would suggest as it can let you anesthetise the moth and so manipulate it to see the hindwing more easily.

Ethyl Acetate

Ethyl Acetate is used in killing bottles. Can it be used just to anaesthetise?

Yes

If you take the moth out as soon as it stops flapping it will usually recover.

OK.

I'll give it a try. You can buy gallons of the stuff on eBay quite cheaply. Thanks.
