Notes

Black band on rear tibia, with orange rounded antennae, long light brown hairs on abdomen, hairs on thorax dorsum and black bristles at rear of the scutellum. Flight period August larval host plant Ragwort

I have just finished keying out a specimen from this group, also taken on ragwort, which I decided is probably bergenstammi, but even with it under the microscope, I could not be sure (it was a smallish specimen and the hairs did not seem bright enough). Better to stick at genus, as you have done.
