Looks very like Cepaea nemoralis (single banded form) rather than Arianta which has a steeper spire.
on balance I think this is likely to be Arianta because the ground colour is mottled, usually plain in Cepaea, and the body is very dark, not usually so dark in Cepaea. Understand that the spire height is variable in Arianta, and while usually higher than Cepaea, can be similar in height to Cepaea
