The big clue with the Woundworts is they pong - a very distinctive smell Marsh WW has lanceolate stakless leaves . hedge WW nettle like stalked leaves. Flower form also differs in both plant more pyramidal in Marsh WW and Purpler in the Hedge WW. Next time pam you will nail the WW's on smell alone
