Vole species - tail length?

Reddish colouration certainly suggests bank vole. Did you see the length of the tail in relation to the body? More or less than a third of length?

Vole species- tail length

I didn't see its tail length- it was sitting on it (I have another photo from behind and can't see a tail at all) and didn't notice when it ran off. I thought bank vole rather than short-tailed because of its colouring.

Bank vole

The tail would be good but the colour is so rich it has to be a bank vole.
