It is very similar to Horvath's rock lizard but just outside of the known range. Also Horvarth's Rock lizard has a beige coloured iris, this lizard has a coppery-red iris which is typical of common wall lizards in this area. Horvarth's rock lizards also typically have a shorter head.
It would be of the subspecies Podarcis muralis muralis.
Your identification has also now been backed up by someone with local knowledge in Slovenia.
