I think it may be broad leaved willowherb - Epilobium montanum but I am not confident enough to change identification.

That was my first thought, but the stigma seems not to be divided into 4 (though it is not always obvious).

Thanks for the comments. I'll take another look at the plant the next time I'm near it and see if I can get more evidence on the stigmas of the various flowerheads. It may be difficult to identify this one though - NE Scotland records (http://nesbrec.org.uk/modules/biomaps/index.php) list sightings of quite a few different Epilobium species in the area.
