Small black and white bee mucking about on my lawn. Odd,as it seemed interested in grass, but finally decided to behave itself and started visiting flowers

It may not have been interested in grass, but like most Andrena bees this is a species that nests in holes in the ground, and could be nesting in your lawn. Watch where they fly and see if you can track down the nesting sites.
