Thanks for your comments Charles. I queried in my i.d. at the time whether it should be Bituminaria but can't remember back to July 2012 as to why!
Having looked again I find that
Blamey/Grey-Wilson and Polunin/Huxley both cite Psoralea in their Wild Flowers of the Mediterranean.
One of my favoured sites Malta Wild Plants attributes Bituminaria to von Linn and Charles Howard Stirton stating that it is the new genus name for Psoralea.
You will see that my later posting, shown at the bottom of the page is named Bituminaria.
An interesting exercise!!
