I agree that they can certainly be young - I have been suspecting that there is a nest in the honeysuckle next to the feeders, they certainly like going in there and there is 5 or 6 altogether.

The beak did throw me as I had suspected it was more finch-like than dunnock-like but if it's a family of greenfinches I have never seen an obviously coloured male and nor do any of them, have an obvious yellow stripe on their wings.
