Wenallt woods - dead tree plants

on a large uprooted tree in a damp location within the middle of the wood, a clump of honey coloured fungi. Area of about 6inches across.
Please advise as to the name of the fungus.


Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

Do you have any more photo's of the gill's,stem and more mature cap as it is hard to give an accurate identification from this photo.
