You mean it should be ID'd simply as Adalia bipunctata ? Have added that as an ID, as can't seem to alter the original one.
Can you say a bit more about ispot not recognising the form of it for credit, I don't understand how that works ?
the carousel does nt load whilst your ID is pretty precise and Correct i-spot does n-t have slots for each of the "forms" just one species , it is likely that someone may correct the ID to allow the carousel to load this helps others agree to your observations by comparing previously ID'd specimes and therefore gain points toward your reputation rather than loose the ID to a technicality. For this reason and its not overly clear it is best to annotate the Form in the Notes Section . Of Course it depends on what ultimately people agree with, but this process stops one species being scattered all over the servers instead of one data lot which is what I think i-spot wants to achieve - I could be wrong !!!
