Description:

Strongly orange with deeper orange apothecia in the splash zone on a granite rock that stands with its base below normal high tide level. Gives the impression of being knobbly! Growing next to what I think is Lichina confinis. Don't know what the white one is yet.

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.
