Wonder if you were there at the same time as me (about 7am) - http://www.ispot.org.uk/node/279103

I believe we may well have been side-by-side?!
I didn't have a scope, only my small pair of binoculars. I was there from around 0545 but met a couple other birders at around 7am, before spotting the Shrike in that copse, then we all moved around to the right for a better look.
One kind gentleman let me use his scope for a better look, was that yourself? I'm intrigued now, let me know. Great morning though, and a first for me - chuffed!

I think I know who you were then.

I had bins and a camera with a large black zoom lens. Was there with a friend from a bit before 7am.

I think I remember, small world! Cracking view really, couldn't of asked for any better. Saw my first Great greay Shrike early this year at Thursley common, then this fella, all I need now is a Woodchat + Brown to turn up at Bedfont lakes or something!? Ha, I'll keep dreaming! Well it was nice to meet you, are you on twitter? I'm: @akkwildlife

Maybe see you around, all the best!

Keith.

Still need Woodchat myself. Got the Brown that was at Staines Moor a few years back. Picked up a couple of Isabellines on Shetland last year - http://www.ispot.org.uk/node/235710

Fantastic! I'm a few behind that but thats all part of the fun. A trip to Shetland is definitely on the wish list...
