Description:

Growing through the limestone chippings on our drive. Flat topped, matt brown like a sponge cake and the underside just like a natural sponge.

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

Thanks for the i.d's. After looking at Boletus images, I came to the conclusion it was likely to be subtomentosus so will edit accordinly.
