I did wonder why its eyes weren't the correct colour as all the IDs I've seen (including on your site which was the first I checked) suggest it should have blue eyes but if it is immature then that explains it! :)

John, with immatures have a look at those stripes on top of the thorax, if wide then it's most likely a Southern Hawker, if narrow then check some other features. Also the Southern hawker is the only UK species to have undivided stripes on S9 and S10, whether mature or immature. Regards Chris
