One of the problems of the

One of the problems of the "Common names" is that many of them are not common at all but just made up in an attempt to involve non mycologists. If they are to be used at all, and there are lots of arguments about that, we ought to use just one. Although I do not like the use of these names most of the time this particular species is one that for quite a few years I could only ever remember Bog Beacon and not Mitrula paludosa so didn't help my stance against the new names.
Your Latin systematic name is spot on.
