It is a very clear photo.
I've tried taking photos of yellowhammers but they are never in focus. I can't understand it.
I think that the colour is partly responsible - for some reason some cameras struggle with bright yellow and whites.
They also have an annoying habit of posing right on the limit of the camera's zoom length - I think they must be experts on photography, this happens so often!
I was beginning to wonder if that might be the case. Next time I'll focus on something nearby.
As for the phographer in them, they woulndn't have to be great to out fox me.
Tip: set camera to manual and set focus to center spot, focus on twig or branch they perch on as this is roughly on the same plane as the eye, keeping focus compose your shot and shoot :)
