Hi, I had this moth in a box

Hi, I had this moth in a box til last night. It began to beat its wings late on, prior to being released. It showed its grey hindwings, crop to be added soon.

Does this mean it actually is a Smoky Wainscot after all? Its seems so looking at the illustrations in WTL.

I think the subsequent image with the grey underwings means my original ID was inaccurate. 2nd pic was added a day later or so as it was only captured some time after posting.
