Willow/mottled Beauty

Just passing on a tip someone else gave me to help separate these two species:

"The trick to these two is to ignore all markings except the cross-lines, particularly the middle two. the outer of the two on Mottled Beauty is is W shaped, whereas on Willow it is more tick shaped."

Once you have your eye in they are quite easy to id, assuming they are not worn!
