Another much loved native

Another much loved native plant that has produced countless mutations that have been collected for garden use.
Very difficult to eradicate as a garden weed.

Ficaria verna subsp. verna

New name for this. Pity, I though subsp bulbifera described it perfectly.

Darn and blast those

Darn and blast those taxonomists! I also prefer the bulbifera. They are all vernal but not all bulbiferous. It would seem iSpot need to update their dictionaries
