Description:

Tall plant, when flowering approx 1M tall. red/purple/brown stems. Large leaves. Found on wetland site. Small red/purple/brown flowers with some yellow marking inside spaced around flowering stem at set points apart. Water figwort is a plant of permanently damp soils and is found at the margins of lakes, rivers and streams and in ditches, wet hollows and marshes.
