Thanks for this thought, Daudi. I have seen the feature in the past but forgotten about it. There are only 2 plume moths present. I've seen Emmelina monodactyla many times and this was bigger and whiter, so it will probably be the White Plume Moth (Pterophorus pentadactyla) - though I'd appreciate confirmation from someone with expertise.
