Hedge 2 021

This creature was spotted in my garden on a blackfly infested honeysuckle plant. About 8mm long, it has four legs in the front of its body which curves away from the head. The body has a broad black stripe down the middle with orange either side. The head is black. There are two rows of bristles along the body where the black and orange stripes meet. Is it a larva of some kind?
