More information

Thank you Reinoud. Where can I find out more information about Stenopogon? Wiki has nothing and EOL has little.

Typical for the

Typical for the Asilidae....on many genera and species there is very little to find and literature is hard to come by and often pretty old. I'm afraid you will have to look for pdf's or real books. Many authors have written about them. A good key can be found in Richter 1988. But maybe there are better ones i dont know about.

The work by EO Engel (in German) from 1930 is the one i use most. "Die Fliegen der Palaearktischen Region" Band IV. But after that i Always have to check elsewhere because a lot has changed since Engel.
