I think you are right, there is a lot of red in the fur and the head looks relatively large. The fur also looks very fluffy and not worn with age - it could, of course be a well groomed adult who is very particular about its appearance though!

It was also its behaviour that led me to that conclusion (an indicator not available to you, of course!) but it seemed quite relaxed about my presence and curious even.
