Description:

Flowerheads emerging above heart-shaped leaves which will become up to 60cm across in summer. Said to have been used to wrap butter.

Rampant

Don't intorduce it to any tidy garden - it is exteremely invasive. At least some species (eg P. paradoxus) have wonderfully scented flowers, early in spring, before the leaves.

Looks more like Giant Butterbur (Petasites japonicus) to me
