luridus vs fracticollis

Ive seen many fracticollis, but never luridus which doesnt seem to have got to Ireland even though there is lots of Sphagnum. Always wondered if I was overlooking it. Did you mean less square pronotum in luridus?. Looking at the picture of luridus here the front part of pronotum seems more rounded than in fracticollis

deeper

I meant it's a bit deeper on luridas, making it a bit more squarish than the relatively elongated width of fracticollis - more four-sided, as they'd say in danish
I was looking at these http://www.britishbugs.org.uk/heteroptera/Lygaeidae/p_luridus.html
though to be honest I was going more by the hairs
