Thank you (again) cicuta58. Having seen your note and Googled R. fruticosus agg, trying to find out what the 'agg' was, I have now learned that because of cross pollination there are so many different bramble species with only minute differences that the bramble is considered to be an aggregate species hence the 'agg'. I have learne dsomething here and am going to look into it further so thanks for your help.
