Very striking pearly white fungus seen on dead wood. Edge of mixed woodland on the North Yorks Moors. I should certainly have tried to see underneath but must confess I was rushing back to the cafe for cake.

Yes, on a fallen rotting trunk which I couldn't identify. I've just checked out Reticularia lycoperdon and found images and descriptions which match well. Thanks - I just couldn't seem to get started with this one.
