Baby snakes

Not a very good picture, but there are what appear to be baby snakes in the crevice of this tree.

They are millipedes, not snakes or slow worms. I suggest you move them to the invertebrate category using the edit tab at the top of the observation.

Snake eggs

In the UK, only the grass snake lays eggs. The adder and smooth snake both give birth to live young.
