You can't move for tripping over them but I never tire of seeing them.

I have also come to regard them as really interesting birds. They are almost as aggressive to each other as robins, and the manoeuvres that go on around the garden as they try to outflank or chase one another are great fun to watch. They're also quite adventurous, being happy to try any sort of feeder or food.
They are famous for their involved sex lives, too. If you've not read about it before, it is worth a look.
