Sitting in bed drinking a fathers day tea when this appeared on the feeder, what could be better. It stayed around for some time even when I opened the window.
No interactions present.
I am rather jealous as I have always wanted to see one, there supposed to love Raspberry jam so maybe you can entice it back again, excellent photographs too.
This is the first time we have seen one so late in the morning, but we do get them visiting. In fact since we became aware they might be about in the garden a year last march we have put out bread with peanut butter mixed nuts , dried fruit and honey. They visit every night without fail at least once, and some times two at a time. This time last year a family, three kits and female visited for some weeks.
If you are interested I have more photos on Flickr
