How about this for a youngish (very wet) Dunnock?

Certainly a Dunnock, but this one is full grown (at least it was not born this year, anyway). If you look at the feathers on the mantle, you can see that they are quite worn at the tips, showing that the feathers have been carried through the last winter. A bird born this year would have very fresh, loose feathers until it started its post juvenile moult, a bit later in the year.
