Actually important here, as the appearance as posted image suggests the plant is trailing rather than erect, which led to thoughts about it being one of the hybrids.
Copied it into Photoshop, turned it over, and agree it is straight-forward P. erecta.
It's trailing down onto the tarmac of a cycle path.
So perhaps it is a hybrid.
I looked at this again today and there is a problem caused by my taking the photo from above, which makes it look more spreading than it is. My saying it trailed down was also wrong. The weather was too filthy to get down and take a worm's eye view, which is what is wanted. I've also corrected the location slightly.
