Near the edge of a pool in heathland. Elaphrus species, but not sure which one.

Hi Yashca , try Elaphrus cupreus or Elaphrus riparius and see what you think. I can see some green on it, was it greener that it looks in the image ?

There certainly was some

There certainly was some green on it, but certainly nowhere near of the extent on the Green Tiger Beetles in the same habitat.

My impression of them on the ground was mainly brown with a tint of green. I'd say the photo was pretty true to life.
