I've just typed in the second name that ispot provided, and it's a totally different beetle. So just stick with Analglyptus mysticus for now

Thanks for your help. I found it in a grassy "ride" through a small mixed deciduous wood. Lots of nettles, brambles , hazel scrub and bracken under mainly oaks.
I've corrected my latin spelling error so all is normal and the right nbn map is showing
