marmalade-and-lunch based jokes welcome
this digger wasp turned up as I was photographing longhorn Stictoleptura, and waited as I was clearly in front of its hole. So it posed briefly before disappearing into a well-used tunnel entrance and not coming out
20metres along from last week's observation, looking closely at the yellow scutellar marking it's clearly a different individual, but I assume the same species. So they like it here - second pic shows habitat
