Jackdaw
Description:

Smaller one of a pair of Jackdaws that visit regularly, often seen clinging to "fat-ball" cage to feed; sometimes both at a time. On other occasions, one or other feeds from nut container or seed tray. Both seem to be "camera-shy", pausing on fence only when the camera is to hand, saving other activities to when camera not available

Update

More recently, have had up to 6 Jackdaws in garden at same time (albeit on the ground). Also witnessed 10-12 Jackdaws on bird feeders at Llanelli Wetlands Trust last Monday, so this behaviour is far more common than I thought likely/possible.
