Bee 1

Observed: 30th May 2012 By: rdhignett
Bee 1
Description:

About 10mm long, a fawn head and hairy stripy body. They are nesting under a roof having found a gap in the wall. There's quite a bit of activity outside the entrance with about 5 or so hovering outside at any one time and a constant flow in and out. Some clearly have pollen sacs on their rear legs. What kind of bee is this please?
