Early Dog Violet darker spur than flowers, V. riviviana flowers later usually may.

Loathe as I am to disagree, I think this is V. riviniana. The spur is not, I think, dark enough for V. reichenbachiana, which also has rather distictive markings on the lower lip, fewer than V. riviniana and not usually branched.
