Bombus hypnorum in nest box

I too have a colony of bombus hypnorum in my garden, just noticed in the past 2 weeks. They are in a clump of ivy, but your picture has jogged my memory - there is a bird box in there, long neglected.
These bees are described as "very aggressive" and this colony is right next to a public footpath - but I don't want to get rid of them.
Please would you let me know if you have any bother with yours?
