Is the 2-spot Ladybird tending to be pushed to more peripheral locations under pressure from the Harlequin Ladybird?
There is certainly evidence that the 2-spot is suffering as a result of the presence of Harlequins. Not seen anything that suggests its range is changing (rather than just its population declining) but I've not researched this in detail.
I couldn't say. I have only seen one Harlequin locally, though I keep looking for others.
