Description:

Small moth trapped indoors, best pic I could get before it made a fast escape.Any ideas?

Camera technique

The camera was fooled by the bright background, so under-exposed the moth. If you get another chance, darken the background next time.
ID? For that you need a REAL expert.

otherwise the little horrors fly away.

Could you give an idea of how long the moth was and of any features that you were able to see - for example, what colour/shade were the pale areas on the wings?

It was about 8/9mm and was

It was about 8/9mm and was fairly pale in colour, as you can see 'just' it has very white/cream lines on each wing.Other than that it was just too fast for me this time.
