This small ground nesting bee was found in a disused gravel pit,mine seemed to go vertically down. It was shiney black,about 6-7mm long and moved very fast .
No interactions present.
I have examined specimen (no expert though learning )and it has no cleft (rima ? )that I can see also it has 3 discal cells that apparently indicate it to be a Andrena Ssp of some sort.Will be sent for id to expert but would welcome your opinion please .
